Communication, Vision, and Process

Our communication process began with a tour of the spaces and general ideas of what the exhibits would include. We then created shared Pinterest boards and had a conversation about which images were most compelling and why (aesthetics, experience details, etc.) From our conversation, I crafted a mood board for each area to solidify our shared vision for the space, which was submitted for approval. After all tweaks were complete, I did a first pass at each drawing- adding in details but leaving room for tweaks. After the first draft was submitted, more feedback was given and each rendering was finalized for submittal.

Renderings

Since we do so much work up front to be sure that we are on the same page, the final rendering is not a huge surprise, and is typically received with satisfaction. The drawings in the Belle Isle series were concurrently completed in a two-month span of time.
